Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12)

Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 directs federal agencies to implement a government-wide common and reliable identification verification system that will be inter-operative between all government agencies. This system will serve as the basis for reciprocity between agencies incorporating Physical Access Control (PAC) and Logical Access Control (LAC). The Physical Access Control refers to a card or biometric system while the Logical Access Control refers to networks and IT infrastructure.

Omega Security International, LLC helps agencies implement standardized physical and logical access controls through the use of state of the art biometric systems. These systems utilize personal identification cards and logic access controls into a consolidated agency-wide solution. Benefits of using Omega’s solution:

  • Standardized Physical Access Control
  • Consolidated Physical and Logical Access Control System
